Adam Funke
Adam Funke's life long passion for health and fitness is what lead to the creation of Real Life Fitness and Health. Initially the program was only a local hour long boot camp, but Real Life Fitness and Health quickly grew in popularity and exceeded 100 participants per day. Eventually the program evolved into what it is today, a live-in fitness camp which can tout some of the best results in the industry. Adam has helped hundreds of people lose thousands of pounds and assisted them through not only the physically demanding parts of this experience but the emotional change that comes as well.
Dustin Bybee
Head Trainer
Dustin Bybee's life has always revolved around health and fitness. He comes from a family of nine children, all of which competed competitively in Cross Country and Track and Field. Dustin excelled as both a collegiate and professional athlete. He runs a 4-minute mile and a sub 14-minute 5k. He was a 4-time Mountain West Conference individual champion. While competing at Brigham Young University, Dustin studied Marketing and Exercise Science. While having a business background, he still found a passion for Sports Medicine and helping athletes reach their potential and accomplish their goals. He has spent much of his life in a training room being treated and treating athletes. He also has helped coach many individuals from novice runners to semi-professionals. He is currently a head coach, alongside his wife, for a local high school's Cross Country and Track Program.
Jesse Allen
Head Trainer
Jesse is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and has been actively involved in health and fitness for the majority of his life. After spending nearly 10 years in the nutritional and personal care industry working in various capacities, Jesse left the industry to co-create a fitness and weight loss program that has positively impacted thousands of lives.
Jesse views training as a tool to improve both the health and lifestyle of an individual. More importantly, he sees training as a vehicle to help an individual accomplish what they never thought possible and live up to their full potential.
Trish Allen
Nutritionist/ Head Trainer
Trish is a certified Nutritionist and Wellness Consultant through the American Fitness Professionals and Associates (AFPA), a certified group fitness instructor through the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America, and a certified Spin Instructor. Trish spent 6 years in the health industry as a Mammographer and then decided to take her passion for living a healthy lifestyle into the fitness arena as a group fitness instructor. After experiencing her own weight loss and body transformation, she helped co-create a fitness guide to help others reach a higher level of fitness and health.
As a nutritionist, Trish has a passion to help others understand that a healthy lifestyle is centered on nutrition. She helps clients walk away with a better understanding of healthy food choices, how to fuel the body correctly and how to overcome those nutrition obstacles that keep you from living the life you deserve.
Chef Frank Powell
Head Chef
Chef, Frank Powell (right), has 25 years of experience combining classical culinary cuisine with a healthy twist. His extensive background includes a special proficiency in preparing seafood and wild game. After attending the Colorado Culinary Arts Institute, Chef Powell trained under fine chefs in Colorado and Utah including Chef Christopher Dejon of the Culinary Art Institutes of America.
Dr. Sidney Young
Mental Health Director
Dr. Sidney Young, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist. He has extensive experience with identifying and treating PTSD, psychological trauma and family issues. Dr. Sid anticipates assisting guest on their quest to strengthen individual well-being and healthy family reationships.
Christy Timothy
Program Coordinator
Christy Timothy grew up in Montana, where she graduated from the University of Montana with a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. She has always had a passion for assisting people in making positive changes in their lives. Christy loves pilates, yoga, waterskiing, hiking, dancing with her 4-year-old daughter, and many other forms of exercise. Health and wellness play a vital role in her life, and she hopes to encourage others to reach their fitness goals.
